Entry Into Makkah Opens 1 June
From 1 June 2026, pilgrims holding valid Umrah visas can enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk app. Once the permit is secured through the platform, pilgrims may proceed to Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) to perform their Umrah.
Pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia on a tourist e-visa outside the Hajj season are also required to obtain an Umrah permit before performing the pilgrimage.
